Volunteer Job Description
The school is in the small town of Gandoca near the protected areas of Gandoca and Manzanillo.
The community small school has approximately twenty students and 2 teachers who teach the basic subjects to children from kindergarten to sixth grade and they do not have English teachers.
The volunteers can teach them English and assist teachers in other classes like math or agriculture if necessary. The volunteers can also teach Art or Physical Education since they do not have these subjects. Usually the students come from local poor families and they have to help their families from an early age.
